Intelligent 9Axis Attitude Sensor Module BNO055
BNO055 is a system-in-package (SiP) that integrates a three-axis 14-bit accelerometer, a three-axis 16-bit gyroscope with a range of ±2000 degrees per second, a three-axis geomagnetic sensor and a single 32-bit Cortex M0 + microcontroller in operation Bosch Sensortec sensor fusion software in the package.
The corresponding chipset is integrated into a 28-pin LGA 3.8mm x 5.2mm x 1.1mm housing. In order to optimize system integration, BNO055 is equipped with digital bidirectional I2C and UART interfaces. The I2C interface can be programmed to operate with the HID-I2C protocol, thereby turning BNO055 into a plug-and-play sensor hub solution for devices running Windows 8.0 or 8.1 operating system.
This data sheet version describes the BNO055 project sample programmed with version 0.3.0.4 of the BNO055 firmware. The firmware version can be identified by reading the SW_REV_ID_MSB and SW_REV_ID_LSB registers; firmware version 0.3.0.4 will return the value 0x03 for the MSB and 0x04 for the LSB.
